La responsabilidad del profesorado en la formación de los alumnos, está en su estimulación para que actúen con autonomía e independencia en sus modos de actuación para el desempeño de la carrera seleccionada. No se trata de efectuar actividades llamativas, sino que las que se realicen respondan a los factores que motivan al estudiante. Por eso es muy importante, conocer las particularidades de ellos, saber cuáles son sus expectativas, sus puntos de partida, necesidades, intereses y a partir de un diagnóstico preciso, objetivo y eficaz, concebir actividades que faciliten el aprendizaje. La motivación está en primer lugar en el alumno, y no en la actividad que se realice ¿Qué le motiva? ¿Cómo le gustaría aprender? ¿Qué saben ya, para no aburrirles? ¿Cómo puedo organizar sus estudios para aprovechar su deseo por esta actividad? Estas reflexiones permitieron asumir como problema de la investigación: ¿Cómo lograr la motivación hacia el estudio con un enfoque interdisciplinario en los estudiantes de la Carrera de Psicología de la Filial Universitaria de Abreus?
