Nos adentramos en nuestra villa desde las cercanías de San Juan, de Laviana, con esa doble mirada que une el campo y la ciudad industrial. Caminamos a la vera del río La Magdalena, vamos conociendo la historia avilesina, Las Campanas, la formación de ese paisaje industrial, bailamos y cantamos por toda nuestra villa alrededor de sus carnavales, retrocedemos en el tiempo para conocer a Eugenia, esa belleza nada monstrua. Seguimos caminando por las calles de Avilés, desde el barrio pescador de Sabugo, pasando por el  parque del Muelle, subimos Galiana entre ese olor nostálgico de villa marinera y acabamos nuestro viaje en el cementerio de La Carriona, lugar  en el que todos iremos a enterrar nuestros recuerdos, nuestras vidas.     Una recopilación de los relatos de nueve participantes en el I Taller de Escritura Creativa de la Asociación de Vecinos La Luz - Avilés. Escritores y escritoras no profesionales a los que une un objetivo común: contar historias con más o menos carga autobiográfica en las cuales la villa asturiana de Avilés tiene gran protagonismo. Una gran labor y un gran trabajo creativo es el resultado de esta experiencia fantástica realizada en el emblemático, y casi sexagenario, barrio avilesino de La Luz.
