This collection unites lyrical works from the years 1982 to 2024 and brings together poems from different creative phases of the author. Thematically organized cycles unfold a broad spectrum of poetic expression, ranging from introspection and memory to engagement with the world. The poems move between different moods and perspectives and are grouped into the cycles 'Reflections,' 'Love Has Many Faces,' and 'Reminiscence,' culminating in 'Quo tendis, humanitas?' and 'Purely Personal.' The latter two comprise very personal texts that explore the relationship between individual experience and societal perception. The illustrations accompanying the volume add a visual dimension to the texts, complementing the poetic content as a visual counterpart.
