With the dawn of Supply Chain Management and Customer Relationship Management practices, ERP systems have evolved to become the core of e-business platforms.However, the deployment of an ERP system involves considerable business process analysis, employee retraining, and new work procedures. Thus, ERP selection, implementation and maintenance processes are of vital importance, and necessitates serious research and commitment since it requires certain level of process adaptation. It touches corporate culture and work organization. Further, the cost and time spend during an ERP system implementation project signifies the impact of the system over the organization. One of the major reasons for ERP system implementation failures is simply derived from inaccurate system selections.In this book, a research is developed to establish a framework for ERP systems selection process and provide guidance for better ERP systems evaluation by investigating all the aspects of the selection process. This research is able to identify the problematic issues, reveal the ways to improve the selection activities and present a roadmap.
