Abschließend werden Querschnittsthemen wie die Auswahl geeigneter Software, leistungsbezogene Vergütung und die Schnittstelle zum Innovationsmanagement eingehend behandelt. Ideenmanagement befasst sich mit Verbesserungsvorschlägen zu bisher üblichen Vorgehensweisen (Betriebliches Vorschlagswesen) und Verbesserungsvorschlägen zu vom Betrieb vorgegebenen Problemstellungen (Kontinuierlicher Verbesserungsprozess oder Kaizen).
