Ziel dieser Forschungsarbeit ist es, die Übertragungsdistanz von faseroptischen Kommunikationssystemen mit vertikalem oberflächenemittierendem Laser bei einer Datenrate von 10 Gb/s durch Kontrolle des Laserchirps zu verbessern. Dies kann durch den Einsatz von optischen Filterschemata, Mach-Zehnder-Interferometer-Schemata mit optischen Filtern und Pre-Emphasis-Schemata mit optischen Filtern im Design der optischen Systeme erreicht werden.
