Die Arbeit war eine Entwicklung eines mikrocontrollerbasierten biometrischen Schließfachsystems mit SMS, das die Sicherheit von persönlichen und vertraulichen Gegenständen einer Person gewährleistet. In der Studie wurde eine Entwicklungsforschungsmethode angewandt, die die Entwicklung von Hardware und Software umfasst. Das System war in der Lage, den Finger zu scannen, ihn in der Datenbank abzugleichen und das Schließfach zu entsperren. Das Global System for Mobile (GSM)-Modul war in der Lage, eine Textnachricht mit dem automatisch generierten Passwort des Schließfachs zu senden, wenn ein nicht erkannter Fingerabdruck gefunden wurde. Alle Hardwarekomponenten funktionierten normal und effizient. Das auf das System hochgeladene Programm lief konsistent, während das Gerät bei der Ausführung seiner Funktionen getestet wurde.
