Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2007 im Fachbereich Geschichte - Allgemeines, Note: 1,3, Universität Hildesheim (Stiftung) (Institut für Geschichte), Veranstaltung: Die Stadt als historisches und geographisches Objekt, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In der vorliegenden Arbeit werde ich die Entfestigung im Allgemeinen ausführlich darstellen und darüber hinaus im Speziellen die Motive für eine Entfestigung anhand von Beispielen herausarbeiten.Um Struktur und Klarheit in die Komplexität des Schleifungsprozesses von Festungsanlagen zu bekommen, möchte ich anhand verschiedenster Vorgänge und Prozesse in Städten wie Paris, Lübeck, Berlin, Wien und anderen Städten die Entfestigung zu veranschaulichen versuchen. Insbesondere die Ursachen und Gründe, die es in dem jeweiligen Fall zu einer Entfestigung kommen ließ, möchte ich näher untersuchen. Darüber hinaus interessiert es mich, ob aus den Einzelmotiven für Entfestigung verallgemeinerbare Grundzüge der Ursachen erkennbar werden und abzuleiten sind. Diese generalisierten Grundzüge, sofern es welche gibt, gilt es dann systematisiert darzustellen und festzuhalten.
