El Trastorno de Estrés Postraumático (TEPT) se caracteriza por presentar una gran diversidad en el Espectro Sintomático y por ser frecuentemente acompañado por Comorbilidades, ambas potencialmente incapacitantes, tanto para el paciente como para su relación con el entorno familiar, sociocultural y laboral. Representa un problema actual de Salud Mental, a nivel mundial, junto con otras patologías asociadas al Trauma.Actualmente en la comunidad científica se plantea la necesidad de detectar estos trastornos lo más rápidamente posible y así tratar de evitar ó disminuir, consecuente incapacidad que pueden producir.Para ello la Organización Mundial de la Salud (O.M.S.) intenta buscar diversas estrategias de Abordaje que permitan acercarnos a tal fin. Una de ellas, y la más importante, es la Detección Precoz y la Intervención Temprana y Adecuada, la cual se caracteriza fundamentalmente por la búsqueda de Indicadores Tempranos, Específicos y Genéricos;Indicadores de Riesgo y Vulneravilidad; Indicadores de Resilencia y Protección, tanto del Trastorno, como de sus Síntomas Tempranos y Comorbilidades, considerando siempre la Variabilidad Individual, la Historia Personal, Familiar, y el Contexto Sociocultural, de cada caso.Este trabajo representa una puesta al día de búsqueda Bibliográfica de aquellos Síntomas Tempranos y Comórbidos del Trastorno por Estrés Postraumático (TEPT) y de otras patologías relacionadas al Trauma, que permitan realizar una Detección Precoz y posteriormente una Intervención Temprana y Adecuada, mediante un Abordaje Psicofarmacológico. 4
