Cuando Carmen comenzó a indagar en el arte de la cartomancia y la clarividencia, jamás imaginó que su excesiva curiosidad daría paso a un sinnúmero de sucesos inexplicables en donde ella, junto a su familia se enfrentaría cara a cara con las fuerzas del mal. Fue entonces como Carmen comenzó a debatir con un extraño problema de insomnio y desequilibrio emocional. Después de haber vivido un periodo de tiempo practicando el ocultismo, Carmen es obligada por una Fuerza Celestial a abandonar sus creencias y practicas esotéricas, y regresar a la isla de Puerto Rico, en donde Dios disponía los medios para su transformación. La Divina Misericordia sería el medio de gracia para su restauración. Un año y medio después Carmen regresa a Estados Unidos, en donde busca ayuda pastoral en la Iglesia Católica de Santo Tomas de Lenoir City, TN y fue en esta misma iglesia en donde Carmen celebró su matrimonio y logró su liberación y sanación. Hoy Carmen vive fielmente consagrada a los corazones de Jesús y a María, bajo su amparo y protección.
