Sobre IBD

Javier es un chico de un barrio bajo de Madrid en los años 1960. Se hace novio de Joaquina, más madura que él. A los dieciocho años, Joaquina tiene que marcharse en circunstancias dramáticas. Javier consigue salir del barrio y llega a ser catedrático. Busca en otras mujeres lo que sintió por Joaquina, pero sin éxito. La novela tiene un trasfondo de violencia: política, delincuencia de todo tipo, y, sobre todo, la violencia sorda que se da entre las cuatro paredes de las viviendas como algo cotidiano. Al final, en 2014, Javier marcha a buscar a Joaquina, pero ya es demasiado tarde.
