Das Projekt zielte darauf ab, die Produktion, die Produktivität, das Einkommen, die Schaffung von Arbeitsplätzen und die Sicherung des Lebensunterhalts der Landwirte der Region Sc zu erhöhen. Das technische Wissen und die kostenlose Abgabe wichtiger Betriebsmittel an die Landwirte helfen ihnen, diese je nach Bedarf und Bequemlichkeit effektiv einzusetzen. Durch verschiedene Fortbildungsmaßnahmen der beteiligten Wissenschaftler wurde ein breiteres Spektrum an Informationen über die neuesten Entwicklungen im Bereich IFS bereitgestellt. Das Projekt erleichterte es den Bauern der Scheduled Caste und Scheduled Tribe, höhere Erträge zu erzielen, was wiederum ihre wirtschaftlichen Erträge steigerte, Arbeitsplätze schuf und den Lebensunterhalt sicherte.
