The core of wellbeing lies in the relationship we have with our ’true’ Self-rather than the persona-self we present to the world. That’s why I give so much credence to anything that, firstly, can inform us about the Self and help us to understand it better, and, secondly, anything that canimprove our relationship with the Self. Viewing ourselves more deeply shifts our primary attention from what is wrong with us to what is right with us, and to the inner resources we already possess. My intent in this book is to hold up a holistic lens that brings into focus a multidimensional view of your Self.
