The year is 1883. The place is Idaho Territory. Zack Kotter and Able Pascal’s pursuit of horse thieves takes them to a secluded mountain basin called, Elk Meadows. Neither expected what awaited them there but since they were friends and partners in a ranch, what affected one affected the other. It might have been different had Zack felt differently about things, but he didn’t. Regardless, they were about to embark on an odyssey that would see a number of men die, possibly even them.
