Per aiutare i media a svolgere questi ruoli, è necessario stabilire e mantenere rapporti di lavoro diretti tra i media e le organizzazioni di gestione delle catastrofi. L’esperienza dimostra che interagire regolarmente con i media prima che si verifichi una catastrofe aiuta a garantire un flusso efficace di informazioni e getta le basi per rapporti di lavoro efficaci all’indomani di una catastrofe.
