Dabei zeigt er, welche Herausforderungen sich durch den Aufschwung der Elektromobilität für etablierte Automobilhersteller ergeben und welche Implikationen dies insbesondere für die Geschäftsmodelle hat. Es werden einerseits die „Disruptive Innovation Theory' von Christensen anschaulich dargestellt und andererseits die auf die Automobilindustrie einwirkenden Entwicklungen untersucht. Darauf aufbauend werden spannende Geschäftsmodellideen innerhalb der Wertschöpfungskette für Elektromobile abgeleitet.
