The research work on electrochemical studies neurotransmitter was carried out for molecules such as Dopamine and Serotonin. The investigations focused on the development of simple, cost effective, time saving, and sensitive method for the determination of neurotransmitter. In order to enhance the sensitivity of the electrode surface, nanoparticles and chemical modification of electrode surface was performed.Cerium doped ZrO2 nanoparticles (CZMCPE) finds an interesting application for the electrochemical detection of Dopamine. These Cerium doped Zirconia nanoparticles were synthesized by environmental benign co-precipitation method. CZMCPE shows good sensitivity, good stability and high electro analytic activity for the detection and quantification of Dopamine.convenient and steady sensor for electrochemical detection of Serotonin (5-HT) was developed through modifying the CPE with ZrO2 nanoparticles. ZrO2 were synthesized by solution combustion process. ZMCPE shows good sensitivity, good stability, highly stable and high electro analytic activity for the detection and quantification of Serotonin.hence the ZMCPE is successfully employed for the analysis of Serotonin in human body,
