Ce livre aborde l’utilisation de matériaux adsorbants à base de bentonite modifiée pour le traitement des eaux contaminées par des composés organiques phénoliques. Trois types de modifications sont explorés : l’activation acide par le H3PO4, la fonctionnalisation par le chitosane, et l’intercalation de tensioactif (CTAB). Les matériaux ainsi obtenus sont caractérisés par diverses techniques (XRD, FTIR, SEM-EDX, TGA-DTA) permettant d’analyser les changements structuraux et morphologiques. L’étude de l’adsorption est réalisée en fonction de plusieurs paramètres (pH, temps, température, concentration), et les résultats sont interprétés selon des modèles cinétiques, isothermes et thermodynamiques. Les données expérimentales montrent une amélioration notable des capacités d’adsorption après modification. Les tests de régénération confirment la stabilité et la réutilisabilité des matériaux. Ce travail ouvre des perspectives pour l’utilisation de ces matériaux dans des applications durables de traitement des eaux.
