Este aviador cuenta la historia de que cuando era niño, hizo unos dibujos que los adultos no lograban comprender y le daban otro significado, aconsejándole a dedicarse a otras actividades lo cual provocaba en este niño un sentimiento de lamento por la poca comprensión que tienen los adultos hacia la creatividad de los niños, la esencia misma del libro se encuentra reflejada en el secreto que le obsequia el zorro al Principito: 'No se ve bien sino con el corazón. Lo esencial es invisible a los ojos'.
