A través de un minucioso cotejo de fuentes y circunstancias, Calomarde traza una cartografía de las relaciones entre ambas en sus doce años de coexistencia, en un análisis que abarca tanto las diversas estrategias de mediación para ese diálogo sesgado pero intenso como el complejo entramado de discursos culturales, ideológicos y estéticos que condicionaron o propiciaron su escenario. Nancy Calomarde es profesora adjunta de la Universidad de Córdoba y ha sido profesora invitada en las universidades de Leiden y de Texas en Austin. Además de El diálogo oblicuo (2010), ha publicado Políticas y ficciones en Sur (1945-1955) (2004) y coeditado los volúmenes colectivos Escrituras latinoamericanas: teoría, crítica y literatura en debate (2012, con Roxana Patiño) y Lezama Lima: Orígenes, revolución y después... (2013, con Teresa Basile).
