U dels aviadors era Antoine de Saint-Exupéry i al cap d’un temps va escriure un conte maravellós inspirat en aquell dia: El chicotet príncip, on explica l’història d’un chiquet que viu en l’asteroide B612 tot sol, cuida tres volcans i una rosa. Pero el nostre personage se dispon a conéixer atres planetes i asteroides. Entre els descobriments que fa el chicotet príncip sobre el món dels hòmens adults hi ha un geógraf que no ix mai del seu planeta, un divertit rei que mana despòticament sobre un asteroide encara més minúscul on a penes cap la seua capa. També coneixerà un vanitós, un avorrit que només ou les lloances i un bevedor que beu per a oblidar que beu, o un home de negocis que conta estreles i un faroler que ha entrat en un curiós i absurt círcul.
