Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2007 im Fachbereich Romanistik - Didaktik Spanisch, Note: 2,0, Universität Paderborn, 11 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Selbst über 400 Jahre nach seiner Veröffentlichung ist Miguel de Cervantes berühmtestes Werk El ingenioso hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha auf der ganzen Welt aktuell. Gibt man den Suchbegriff „Don Quijote' in Google ein, bekommt man zwischen 2.120.000 (Google.es und Google.com) und 2.350.000 (Google.de) Treffer. Obwohl er oft von Schriftstellern aufgegriffen wurde und wird, reicht der Einfluss des Don Quijote weit über die Grenzen der Literatur; das Thema inspiriert nach wie vor zahllose Künstler, Komponisten und Filmmacher, die es nach ihren Vorstellungen interpretieren. Als erster bürgerlicher Roman ist er jedoch vor allem ein Meilenstein der spanischen Literatur. Dementsprechend ist es unerlässlich dieses Thema im Spanischunterricht zu behandeln. Die hier vorgestellte Unterrichtseinheit stellt eine Einführung in das Thema ‚400 años de Don Quijote' für die Mittelstufe dar. Zunächst werde ich die Rahmenbedingungen zu dieser Einheit erklären, um danach die einzelnen Stunden vorzustellen. Abschließend werde ich die Durchführbarkeit der Einheit an sich und des Themas im Unterricht im Allgemeinen kritisch betrachten.
