Zunächst habe ich mich selbst mit den Einstellungen von Frauen in ländlichen Gebieten und der Führung des Familienlebens beschäftigt. Außerdem habe ich beobachtet, dass in ländlichen Gebieten fast alle Familien in Großfamilien leben. Auf diese Weise werden alle Frauen vom Familienoberhaupt kontrolliert. Sie haben keine Freiheit und nur begrenzte Bildung. Frauen beteiligten sich auch an der Hausarbeit und der Feldarbeit. Sie schlossen sich Mahila Mandals an und bildeten Gruppen. Gesundheitlich gesehen nahmen sie keine nahrhaften Lebensmittel zu sich. Dies führte zu vielen Komplikationen. Aber heutzutage hat sich ihre wirtschaftliche Lage verbessert. In den Dörfern wurden auch Sparkonten eröffnet. Alle Frauen sind motiviert, Familienplanung zu betreiben, und wenden diese auch an.
