Questo studio si propone di analizzare l’effetto della globalizzazione sulla letteratura orale in Ruanda, concentrandosi sul settore Musanze e sull’INES-Ruhengeri. Utilizzando un disegno di ricerca misto di indagine descrittiva e studio di caso, la ricerca mirava a identificare i tipi di globalizzazione che influenzano la letteratura orale, i loro effetti e le possibili strategie. Lo studio si è rivolto a 864 persone, con un campione estratto attraverso un campionamento casuale stratificato e semplice, tra cui 80 studenti le cui risposte sono state analizzate. I metodi di raccolta dei dati comprendevano questionari, interviste e analisi di documenti. L’affidabilità degli strumenti di ricerca è stata garantita dalla revisione tra pari e dalla supervisione dell’Università di Kampala. L’analisi dei dati è stata condotta con SPSS versione 20 e i risultati sono stati presentati in tabelle di frequenza. La ricerca ha rivelato che la globalizzazione commerciale/commerciale/economica e tecnologica sono i fattori che più influenzano la letteratura orale nella regione.
