Les deux composés testés dans la présente étude, Tracer et Nomolt, doivent être pris en considération dans tout programme intégré suivant le protocole de l’IOBC. Nomolt et Tracer font partie d’une nouvelle génération d’insecticides connus pour être moins nocifs pour l’environnement que les insecticides classiques, en plus des effets directs et latents de Nomolt sur les ravageurs ciblés. L’utilisation intégrée d’ennemis naturels, en particulier Ch. Carnea, C. undecimpunctata, T. evanescens et B. brevicornis, pour la lutte contre certains ravageurs du coton et d’autres ravageurs semble possible grâce à l’utilisation de pesticides sélectifs.
