Ce livre rapporte l’étude de la résistance à la compression et de la résistance à la traction fractionnée d’un béton contenant des cendres de balle de riz (RHA) et des fibres plastiques dans différentes proportions. Un béton de grade M-20 a été utilisé pour l’étude expérimentale. La teneur en RHA a été utilisée de 5% à 15% à l’intervalle de 5% en remplaçant le ciment Portland ordinaire (O.P.C.) et les fibres plastiques ont été utilisées de 1% à 3% à l’intervalle de 1% en remplaçant l’agrégat grossier. Les fibres plastiques ont été obtenues en coupant les sacs en polyéthylène en petits morceaux. La résistance à la compression et à la traction du béton a été vérifiée à 7 jours et à 28 jours de la période de cure. Les résultats montrent que les échantillons de béton contenant des RHA et des fibres plastiques présentent une meilleure résistance que les échantillons de béton contrôlés.
