Este livro é conduzido para investigar os efeitos dos terramotos de 19 de dezembro de 2010 e 24 de novembro de 2011 na cidade de Hosanna. Devido à limitação dos dados disponíveis, apenas sete edifícios foram selecionados para a investigação. O trabalho examina os cinco edifícios por análise qualitativa e dois dos edifícios, tanto qualitativa como quantitativa. O método qualitativo foi baseado no método de avaliação de danos usando FEMA e ATC-40 critérios de desempenho de segurança de vida.
