Esta obra de Comportamento do Consumidor inspira-se na investigação anterior das ciências sociais sobre a tatuagem. Uma vez que as tatuagens adquiriram uma popularidade crescente nos últimos dez anos, os estudiosos do mercado começaram a estudar este fenómeno de uma perspetiva diferente. Assim, este trabalho fornece uma análise quantitativa do consumo de tatuagens na Europa de Leste, aplicando uma versão alargada da Teoria do Comportamento Planeado (Ajzen, 1991), com o efeito moderador da variável Materialismo (Richins & Dawson, 1992). Os dados foram recolhidos junto de europeus de leste tatuados e modelados através de Standard Equation Modeling (SEM).
