'我们这个诗歌大国有一个很好的传统,历来注重'采诗'、搜集整理诗歌材料。作为的全国性诗词组织的中华诗词学会,自1987年5月成立以来,就十分重视这项工作。学会每年的学术研讨会和历届'华夏诗词奖',都出版论文集和获奖作品集。纪念学会成立二十年、三十年时,还专门编辑出版了《大事记》《论文选集》《诗词选集》。《中华诗词》创刊以来,每年都制作年度合订本。2007年5月,在北京天识东方文化艺术传播有限公司的资助下,以近代以来诗词创作、诗词理论、诗词运动重要文献汇编,当代名家个人作品专集等为主要内容,出版了《中华诗词文库》。经过十来年的编辑整理,已经出了近百卷。这些诗集、文集的出版,记录了近百年来尤其是改革开放四十多年来,中华诗词从起步、复苏走向复兴的砥砺前行的历程,为近、当代诗歌史的撰写准备了丰富的资料。作者简介李栋恒中将，男，汉族，1944年7月生，河南南阳人。1965年9月入党。1963年8月上海交通大学船舶动力系学习。
