Rocío Vargas Herrera was born and educated in Panama, from a Sevillian father (gypsy) and a Panamanian mother (diplomat), both business persons. Woman of experience in dealing with all kinds of people and situations (Panama, Seville and Miami) and very familiar, she describes herself as Bohemian (head in the clouds). He has lived in Miami for more than 30 years and works as a business manager (down to earth). The novel Echos of my Clan unfolds the Spanish situation of the first half of the 20th century, and from its romantic essence it tells a very hard life. In addition to entertaining, draws a tapestry of the political situation in Spain at that time, particularly adverse for the gypsies, about which there is still a surprising ignorance and discrimination. Unraveling the enigmatic life of gypsies is one of the main merits of this work.
