彭嘉庆，1945年12月生，福建仙游人，高级经济师，福建师范大学毕业后到锻炼，为支援三线建设分配到贵州省六盘水市，历任公社文教干事、云盘中学校长、特区党校教务主任、市委宣传部副部长、市政府秘书长等职；调福建省工作后，历任中国工商银行福建省分行干部学校校长、厦门分行副行长、漳州分行行长、省分行副厅级巡视员等职；兼任福建省技术经济与管理现代化研究会副理事长，福建省姓氏源流研究会副会长。受聘任紫金矿业集团股份有限公司非执行董事及紫金集团财务公司董事。系中华诗词学会会员、中国楹联学会会员、中国诗词家联谊会理事、中国诗词名家交流中心理事、福建省楹联学会常务理事、福建省逸仙诗词学会理事。理论专著《金融理论与实践探索集》编列21世纪新锐文丛《当代学人思想文库》，诗联专集《毅德阁吟稿》、《妈祖颂》、《百家姓礼赞》及《七言属对一千联》等。本书收编作者诗稿五百多首诗词；内容丰富，意境悠远，耐人寻味。本书还附录了作者早期一些新诗和部分诗词评论文章，从中可以看出作者多方面的兴趣和对于当代诗词发展所作出的积极探索。
