内容简介：本卷为三卷集的第一卷，让读者有机会接触到巴文克1883/1884年至1902年秋季，在坎彭神学院（Theological School in Kampen）为学生们所讲授的改革宗伦理学的课程。尽管这部作品在方法上与巴文克的四卷本巨著《改革宗教理学》完全相同，而且有迹象表明巴文克可能打算最终出版这部作品，但他并未如此行，只留下了1100页的手稿。巴文克所留下的手稿在他于1921年逝世后，一直尘封，直到2008才被学者发现和重视。毫无疑问，此著作面世对全球巴文克研究起到了极大的推动。学者借此得以更好地全面了解巴文克的思想。此中译本乃结合荷文原版和英译本之优点。在英译的基础上，编辑根据荷文原版校对译稿，修正了英译本中超过150项翻译错误或不准确之处，另外根据荷文版补充了126处注解说明。然而，中译本全部采纳了英译本所添加的经文内容，方便读者阅读。此外，一些译名也经过挑选，以符合巴文克提倡的基督教大公性的精意。作者简介：现代荷兰改革宗神学大師赫尔曼•巴文克（Herman Bavinck，1854-1921）于1880年从荷兰莱顿大学（Leiden University）获得神学博士学位，以一篇阐释瑞士改教家慈运理（Ulrich Zwingli，1484-1531）伦理学的博士论文开始他的神学研究生涯。1882年，巴文克被荷兰基督教归正教会全国总议会任命为坎彭神学院教授。《荷兰新加尔文主义》丛书主编：陈佐人博士（美国西雅图大学神学与宗教研究系副教授）、曾劭恺博士（浙江大学哲学系百人计划研究员 'ZJU 100 Professor'）、徐西面博士（英国爱丁堡大学神学院哲学博士）
