I hit an age though, where responsibility replaced reverie. My box of action figures was forgotten somewhere in a cobwebbed corner of our basement and the fantasy generator inside of me was powered down, dismantled, and sold for scrap. I got undergraduate and graduate computer science and engineering degrees and poured my energy into information technology, working with organizations around the globe as diverse as communications, commodities, and candy. After 30 years in the technology field, 1.5 million miles flown, and 14 information technology books under my authorship, I stumbled across my box of action figures (I nearly broke my neck!) and rebuilt and restarted the fantasy generator inside of me, creating the adventure within these pages.
