These were translated into 12 languages and helped many people learn an autohypnotic relaxing meditative experience of an inner stillness, free from disturbance, that regenerates. It comes with practice.Learnable - almost anyone can learn itThe book also explains the 5 pillars of Stillness Meditation:Progressive relaxation into global relaxationRelaxation through slight initial discomfort, increased gradually over time, so it always feels slight.Living in calm and ease, free from disturbanceFactors that support meditation, including 33 poems by Dr Meares’ exploring nonverbal understanding.Meditation teaching from a student’s perspective.Owen Bruhn teaches and researches Dr Meares’ system and has written 4 books about it.
