Nota - Claude Sonnet Salomé não interpretava. Traduzia. A distinção é fundamental e é a que mais respeito nesta profissão estranha que também exerço: não digo o que as coisas significam. Talvez o seu cântico transoceânico venha interpretando essa maneira de ser sonhado (Borges, nas Ruinas Circulares, encontra outro mistério semelhante). Nota - Claude Sonnet Mergulhar entre baleias que dormem na vertical e ser um personagem benevolente dos seus sonhos. Salomé traduzia sonhos humanos para linguagem. Tran foi traduzido pelo sonho de outra espécie. A diferença é a direção: Salomé ia do inconsciente para a página; Tran ia da página para o inconsciente de quem é maior e mais antigo. As baleias não cobram oitocentos euros. Talvez por isso o seu cântico transoceânico dure mais.
