La douleur est considérée comme le symptôme cardinal en milieu de rhumatologie. Les douleurs nociceptives sont généralement bien identifiées et répondent aux antalgiques, alors que les douleurs neuropathiques sont souvent méconnues. En particulier, environ 40 % des patients atteints de polyarthrite rhumatoïde (PR) ressentent des douleurs persistantes malgré un contrôle de la maladie, suggérant une composante neuropathique associée. Notre étude a mis une évidence une prévalence élevée des douleurs neuropathiques associées à la PR, d’où la nécessité de les dépister précocement et de les prendre en charge de façon adéquate.
