Before I begin sharing my personal journey with my life story, I want to point out that the majority of my life has been filled with great friends, great experiences, and most of all a great family. I did, how- ever, have a series of traumatic experiences along the way. I was told by many close friends and family that I should write a book. I have heard there is a book in all of us. Well, my goal is to share my book with you and inspire you to write your book. Some books are filled with lots of words that lead up to the main points. That is not how I live my life and that is not how I wrote my book. The book has a very simple but powerful flow. I write about twenty-five experiences that I feel shaped my character and nudged me in my life path.My book is in chronological order and begins when I was six years old. While writing the book, I shared the content with my wife and, in some cases, I shared painful memories that I have never told anyone in my entire life, not even my wife.My life began on November 20, 1961, and I was born in lovely warm San Diego, California. Then we moved back to the state of Rhode Island when I was only six months old.
