The story of Amelia Conway, a highly successful divorce attorney in San Francisco who has insisted on using her maiden name while married for 15 years to a highly successful construction engineer. He never forgets anniversaries, birthdays and holidays, but his roving work and roving eye keep his side of their double bed more unoccupied than occupied.
