Questo breve libro presenta il lavoro scaturito dalle discussioni nell’ambito della materia Diversità linguistica e insegnamento delle lingue, insegnata nel primo semestre del 2017 nel corso di laurea in Lingue (inglese) presso l’Istituto di Linguistica, Lingue e Arti dell’Università Federale del Sud e Sud-Est del Pará (ILLA-UNIFESSPA) nella città di Marabá, nel sud-est del Pará. Questo volume contiene capitoli che presentano le riflessioni e i dibattiti che si sono svolti durante il corso. Oltre a osservazioni sull’insegnamento e sull’apprendimento della lingua inglese. In questo modo, si spera che il lettore possa dialogare con testi - seppur brevi - che suscitano domande e idee sull’acquisizione e l’appropriazione di una nuova lingua.
