Marion has a way of revealing subtle truths in huge ways by plying diction so strongly into our mind’s eye ... as if she’s anticipated exactly what we all need to hear, and after all, the things she discusses aren’t so foreign to us that we cannot relate. Family as a chief subject and anything that may harm the symbiosis of this family is fair game. Her unabated attention to her chief concern, family, is carried mostly in what I have ever read of her, and unashamedly her tenacity is encouraging to those who may need courage in understanding what family actually means.
