Karim Fereidooni untersucht, ob und in welchem Ausmaß ReferendarInnen und LehrerInnen mit Migrationshintergrund an ihrem Arbeitsplatz Diskriminierung bzw. Rassismus erfahren. Der Autor analysiert, welche Bewältigungsstrategien (angehende) LehrerInnen anwenden, um trotz dieser Erfahrungen weiterhin als Lehrkraft tätig sein zu können. Er geht auch der Frage nach, warum andere Lehrkräfte keinerlei Diskriminierungs- bzw. Rassismuserfahrungen im Berufskontext machen. Diese Studie ist die erste im deutschsprachigen Raum, die sich explizit mit Diskriminierungs- und Rassismuserfahrungen von ReferendarInnen und LehrerInnen mit Migrationshintergrund im deutschen Schulwesen beschäftigt.
