One morning I woke up and could hardly move, with chicken feet for hands. Staff at a pain clinic later told me that I would be wheelchair-bound for the rest of my days. Like Joe Dispenza and others, I didn’t believe what I was told, and I started looking for alternatives. Something that sat heavy in my mind was the death of a lovely friend, a world-renowned and talented artist. She had been suffering unbearable pain caused by nerve damage after surgery. A vibrant, funny, and creative woman, she had given up on her life. Her loss resonated with me as I too endured intense pain and experienced a chaotic mind. I too have felt close to the edge. This tragedy prompted me to share my story with the aim that other sufferers can have hope to be pain-free. How can this memoir help you? Are you in chronic pain or diagnosed with a debilitating physical condition? It can be tiring to look for solutions, but if you’re brave and positive even when you feel full of pain, it helps you through those days.  This story shines out hope. Ultimately, I was able to heal myself without any medical aids. There are alternative therapies that helped me, ways that can heal our bodies and minds. The key lies in finding the therapy that resonates with you, be it acupuncture, hypnotherapy, EFT kinesiology, hydrotherapy, energy healing, homeopathy, essential oils, or one of the many others. These all have a place in my ongoing healing. I hope that, by sharing my story, I can help others reclaim their lives.
