This is a collection of seventy-two works of correspondence between Moravian tribes and various contemporary authorities. Salient to these early letters are the compositions with the Carolingian empire, the Papal Curia, the saints Cyril and Methodius, and various petty regional kings. This work is a rare insight into the Embryonic Czech state via its earliest incarnation as Great Moravia.
