Zwischenprüfungsarbeit aus dem Jahr 1992 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Literaturgeschichte, Epochen, Note: 1, Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg (Institut für Deutsch als Fremdsprachenphilologie), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Schillers Aufsatz Über naive und sentimentalische Dichtung wurde 1795-96 in der Zeitschrift HOREN veröffentlicht. In seiner Abhandlung setzte Schiller zwei Menschencharaktere einander entgegen; nämlich naive und sentimentalische Dichter. Beide sind als ästhetisch vorgestellt. Das naive sucht Schiller in der antiken, das sentimentalische in der modernen Dichtung. In diesem Sinne gehört Schiller selbst zu modernen, bzw.sentimentalischen Dichtern, und Goethe zu den alten, bzw. naiven.Der, natürlich empfindende, mit der Natur eins seiende Dichter ist der naive, der, das Natürliche empfindende, dieses aus der Distanz des Verlustes betrachtende und suchende der sentimentalische Dichter.
