Das Buch 'Die sieben Tore der Seele, Leben in der Galeere, Leben im Glück' beschreibt das Leben eines jungen Mannes namens Luange, der sich nach einem Schock in seinem Leben in sich selbst verkriecht, um zu verstehen und dem Leben einen Sinn zu geben, indem er versucht, ein Ideal des Seins zu erreichen und dabei im Einklang mit einer Welt zu bleiben, die ihm zunehmend krankhaft erscheint. Aber später hat er sich zusammengerissen und tief in seinem Inneren die notwendigen Ressourcen geschöpft, um zunächst Wissen zu sammeln und es dann mit Hilfe seiner Frau Patience zu nutzen, um über die Schwierigkeiten zu triumphieren und aus dieser Armut herauszukommen.
