Frauen, die im mittelständischen Unternehmen ihres Ehemannes bzw. Partners mitarbeiten, und zwar unabhängig vom Bezug eines Entgelts für ihre Tätigkeit, sind Gegenstand dieser Studie. Als Vergleichsgruppen wurden Mitinhaberinnen sowie Alleininhaberinnen in diesem Unternehmenssegment herangezogen. Insgesamt konnten knapp 1500 Frauen in der Auswertung der Fragebögen berücksichtigt werden. Besonderes Interesse galt dabei neben der Doppelbelastung der Frauen in Beruf und Haushalt auch Aspekten ihrer Qualifiaktion, der Art ihrer Mitarbeit sowie ihrer sozialen Absicherung. In zahlreichen Graphiken und Tabellen wird eine anschauliche Beschreibung der aktuellen Situation dieser Frauen vermittelt. Neben objektiven Daten bietet die Studie einen Einblick in die eigene Einschätzung der Position der Frauen in Beruf und Familie
