Er wirkt sich auf Eltern, Familien, Schulen, Gleichaltrige und die Gesellschaft als Ganzes aus und stellt die Studenten vor erhebliche soziale und wirtschaftliche Herausforderungen. Das Ziel der kommunalen Gesundheitspflege ist es, die Gesundheit der Bevölkerung zu fördern, zu schützen und zu erhalten. Entsprechend den drei Ebenen der Prävention können Gemeindeschwestern und -pfleger eine wesentliche Rolle von der Förderung bis zur Wiederherstellung spielen.
