Dieses Buch enthält Informationen über die radiologische Anatomie und Pathologie der Bauchspeicheldrüse sowie über die physikalischen Grundlagen der diffusionsgewichteten MRT. Es enthält auch eine Studie über den Wert der Kombination von konventioneller MRT mit DWI unter Berücksichtigung der Unterscheidung zwischen gutartigen und bösartigen Läsionen der Bauchspeicheldrüse. Alle Bilder unserer Studie stammen aus der radiologischen Abteilung der Universität Kairo sowie aus einer privaten Einrichtung. Alle wurden mit einem 1,5-Tesla-MRT aufgenommen. Die Patienten wurden einer gründlichen Anamnese, einer konventionellen MRT und einer DWI unterzogen. Die Studie wurde zwischen August 2012 und April 2014 durchgeführt. So konnten wir den Wert der Kombination aus konventioneller MRT und funktioneller diffusionsgewichteter Bildgebung für die Charakterisierung von gutartigen und bösartigen Läsionen der Bauchspeicheldrüse entdecken.
