In der russischen Gesetzgebung wird der Begriff 'Hüttendorf' nicht verwendet. Daher wird in den Artikeln der Begriff 'Wohn- und Grundstückskomplex' verwendet. Die derzeitige russische Gesetzgebung legt weder den rechtlichen Status von Komplexen aus einzelnen Wohnungen und Grundstücken mit gemeinsamer Infrastruktur fest, noch regelt sie die Zusammensetzung und die rechtliche Regelung des gemeinschaftlich genutzten Eigentums in diesen Komplexen.Eine der Aufgaben des Verfassers bestand darin, die derzeit geltenden Rechtsformen für Wohnungs- und Grundstückskomplexe sowie nicht sinnvoll verworfene und früher in der Russischen Föderation geltende Rechtsformen, wie z.B. Eigentumswohnungen, zu untersuchen, die zur Bestimmung des Rechtsstatus solcher Komplexe beitragen können.
