Das Thema der Selbststeuerung in sozialen Systemen wird in diesem Buch von zwei Seiten her beleuchtet, nämlich in Auseinandersetzung mit dem systemtheoretischen Konzept der Selbststeuerung und der angewandten Gruppendynamik, in der die Gruppe als reflexives und selbststeuerndes Sozialsystem eingesetzt wird. Die Beiträge dieses Bandes gehen folgenden Fragen nach: Wie passen systemische Theorie und gruppendynamische Praxis zusammen? Wo gibt es Widersprüche? Wie kann man Selbststeuerung als Individuum, Gruppe oder Organisation lernen? Gemeinsamer Bezugspunkt der Beiträge ist das Verstehen und die Begleitung von Veränderungsprozessen von einzelnen Menschen und sozialen Systemen mit gruppendynamischen Interventionen und Methoden. Darüber hinaus werden die Auswirkungen des Konzepts der Selbststeuerung auf die Rolle der Trainer- und BeraterInnen beschrieben und Umsetzungsbeispiele aus der Erwachsenenbildung, der Ausbildung von Führungskräften und der Organisationsberatung dargestellt.
